- Responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for clients
You will lead and manage the full payroll implementation process—ensuring accurate data transfer, correct system configuration, and smooth transition to live payroll—while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders and providing ongoing support and training
- Project setup: organize and run kick-off meetings with onboarding teams and clients, create, maintain and manage project plans to deliver successful client roll-outs
- Client and project management: support internal and external project review calls, coordinate project streams, and manage changes to scope and delivery schedules
- Define payroll process requirements: establish client payroll and data requirements and manage payroll calendars timely and effectively
- Maintain documentation: keep detailed project documentation including project plans, status reports, and process documentation
- System setup and parallel payroll: define, agree and configure interfaces, reports and system configurations to deliver parallel and live payroll for month 1 and 2 if applicable
- Go-live transition and sign-off: work with clients to sign off on projects, document client-specific needs and processes, and generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data
- Reports mapping: map GL reports if required
- Communication: act as the point of contact for all payroll project matters for the client and schedule/attend weekly client calls to report on project status, risks, actions, issues and dependencies
- Autonomous project ownership: set priorities, manage projects appropriately, report regularly to senior leadership, and escalate issues when necessary
- End-to-end project management: lead and manage the implementation of a global payroll system, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Client requirements gathering: collect key requirements from clients and guide them through technical payroll onboarding aspects
- Stakeholder collaboration: work with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather payroll requirements
- Compliance: ensure payroll processes adhere to local tax and labor laws and stay up to date with changes
- Data migration oversight: manage migration of payroll data from legacy systems to the new global payroll system ensuring accuracy and security
Testing and change management: develop and execute comprehensive testing plans and implement change management strategies for smooth transitions
