• In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and performance of our applications by executing creating and executing tests, reporting on findings, and collaborating with developers
• Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of quality and enhanced user experiences
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test cases
• Collaborate with developers and Product Owners to understand application requirements and translate them into effective test strategies
• Identify, document, and track software defects using Azure DevOps tools
• Perform various testing types: functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing
• Participate in design discussions to provide input on quality and testing approaches
• Maintain testing documentation and provide reports on testing progress and software quality
• Participate in Agile ceremonies

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• 3+ years experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with manual testing and automated testing frameworks
• Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position
• We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our Agile team
• Applicants must live within commutable distance and be willing to work on-site at our Fredericksburg office
• An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements

• The projected annual compensation range for this position is $84,961.00 - $119,460.00 (USD)
