APPLE Accumulation Program for Part-Time Limited-Service Employees Job Duties The EOPampSCARECalWORKs department is seeking qualified part-time counselors to provide academic personal and career counseling services including developing educational plans and delivering follow-up services to EOPampS students Minimum Qualifications Must meet all the qualifications listed under 1 through 3 1 Must meet one of the sets of qualifications listed under a through b a A Masters degree in counseling rehabilitation counseling clinical psychology counseling psychology guidance counseling educational counseling social work or career development b A combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent of the qualifications in a above You must complete and attach the Application for Equivalency form wwwpalomareduhrequivalency-app if you do not possess the specific minimum qualifications as stated above which includes degrees that have not been awarded at the time of submitting the application 2 Must meet one of the sets of qualifications listed under a through b a Have completed a minimum of nine semester units of college coursework predominantly relating to ethnic minorities or persons handicapped by language social or economic disadvantages b Have completed six semester units or the equivalent of a college-level counseling practicum or counseling field-work courses in a community college EOPS program or in a program dealing predominantly with ethnic minorities or persons handicapped by language social or economic disadvantages 3 Must have two years of occupational experience in work relating to ethnic minorities or persons handicapped by language social or economic disadvantages Only coursework completed at and degrees awarded by accredited institutions recognized by the US Department of Education will be considered as satisfying the minimum qualifications Coursework and degrees that are completed outside of the United States are required to have transcripts evaluated evaluation to US equivalency and a course by course analysis by an appropriate US credentials evaluation service For a list of credentials evaluation
