• The injection molding and blow molding supervisor is responsible for supervising packers and injection molding and blow molding machine operators on the production floor
• This position plans and assigns work, implements and enforces policies & procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions
• Essential Function - Roles/Responsibilities Handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used safely while performing job duties
• Ensure effective employee relations
• Provide employee coaching and development
• Resolve employee issues through problem resolution
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas
• Work to continuously improve in all areas
• Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager
• Provide leadership Perform accident investigations
• Maintain proper inventory levels
• Manage department priorities
• Track absenteeism and timekeeping
• Communicate effectively with Plant Manager & Human Resources
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs
