You will collaborate with ISSMs, system owners, and senior cybersecurity stakeholders to evaluate security solutions, mitigate risks, and achieve compliant system authorization in a high-impact environment

• Clearance: Active Full Scope Polygraph required
• Work authorization: This role requires you to be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• 10+ years of experience as an ISSO supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Security tools or HW/SW security implementation
• Communication protocols
• Encryption technologies/tools
• Experience supporting NIST RMF authorization activities
• Experience developing and maintaining:
• System Security Plans (SSPs)
• Experience executing vulnerability & risk assessments for classified systems
• Experience providing configuration management (CM) for security software, hardware, and firmware
• Experience maintaining security posture for intelligence community systems/programs
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4+ years of ISSO experience in lieu)
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I+ compliance
• Strong knowledge of information assurance, compliance, and security policy enforcement
• Experience with NSA / IC / DoD cybersecurity environments
• Experience supporting authorization activities for Intelligence Community systems
• Experience guiding classified environments through security accreditation

This role requires you to be based in the US and able to work on site in the Fort Meade, MD Metro area as needed
