We are seeking an experienced Crisis Management and IT Disaster Recovery Lead to lead and evolve MongoDB’s programs for managing crises and recovering critical IT systems during major incidents. This role is vital to safeguarding MongoDB’s IT infrastructure, ensuring service resilience, and protecting customer trust and business operations during unexpected disruptions.
As the Crisis Management and IT Disaster Recovery Lead, you will lead efforts to ensure MongoDB’s ability to respond to IT and product disruptions, maintaining high availability and reliability. Partnering with IT, engineering, security, product, legal, and executive teams, you will implement centralized strategies that align with MongoDB’s mission. You will also drive clear, effective communication during crises to ensure transparency and maintain customer trust.
Develop and execute MongoDB’s IT disaster recovery frameworks to restore critical infrastructure, services, and applications in alignment with recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs) Continuously assess and refine disaster recovery readiness through simulations and tests to validate system robustness and recovery protocols
Collaborate on mock tests and exercises to validate preparedness and fine-tune response plans, ensuring MongoDB’s workforce remains aligned and equipped to handle potential IT crises

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
