The Robotics Operations Manager holds primary accountability for the facility’s performance during their assigned shift. Managing an organization of up to 100 personnel , this role ensures the seamless integration of human capital, robotic systems, and data integrity. The Manager is responsible for driving excellence across key operational metrics while fostering a high-performance culture rooted in professional development and continuous process improvement.
You will:
Employee Experience & Advocacy: Serve as the guardian of the workplace experience. Proactively identify the demands and requirements of the shift staff, transforming feedback into actionable initiatives that enhance operational ergonomics, engagement, and overall workplace satisfaction.
Mentorship: Utilize structured 1:1 coaching sessions as the primary mechanism to discuss career path, provide performance feedback, and prepare career paths for operators and supervisors.
Resource Optimization: Oversee complex labor planning and headcount allocation, ensuring that all team members are effectively deployed against the site's daily objectives.
Root Cause Methodology: Lead formal Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes (e.g., 5-Whys, Fishbone) to address complex operational variances and implement preventive measures to ensure long-term stability.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate daily with Quality Management, Engineering, and on-site Maintenance teams to synchronize efforts. Facilitate formal shift handovers to ensure the precise transfer of critical information and operational status between leadership teams.
