We are seeking a skilled Tax Law Expert to enhance xAI’s AI models by providing high-quality data annotations and inputs tailored to tax law contexts. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in complex tax structuring, wealth transfer taxation, trust and estate planning, charitable gifting strategies, private foundations, and the tax implications of diverse assets to support the training of advanced AI systems. You will collaborate with technical teams to refine annotation tools and curate impactful data, ensuring our models effectively capture real-world tax analysis, sophisticated planning documentation, and high-stakes wealth transfer dynamics. This role requires adaptability, strong analytical skills, and a passion for driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Deliver curated, high-quality data for tax law scenarios involving complex structures for clients, including trust and estate taxation documents, charitable gifting strategies and agreements, private foundation formation and compliance materials, tax opinions on diverse assets (real estate, private equity, art, cryptocurrency, and alternative investments), wealth transfer planning (GRATs, IDGTs, dynasty trusts), and substantial estate and gift tax filings.
Direct experience in sophisticated tax law work, including drafting and reviewing trust and estate planning documents, private foundation materials, charitable gifting strategies, complex wealth transfer structures, and tax opinions on diverse asset classes.
For contractor positions, hours will vary widely based on project scope and contractor availability, with no fixed commitments required. On average most projects may involve at least 10 hours per week to achieve deliverables effectively though this is not a fixed commitment and depends on the scope of work. Contractors have full flexibility to set their own hours and determine the exact amount of time needed to complete deliverables.
