• Position Reports To: Director of Engineering
• Supervises Others: No
• The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from conception to completion
• This role bridges the gap between technical engineering and project management, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management
• Ensure process and quality compliance through the development lifecycle
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success
• Be a servant-leader to the team, removing blockers and fostering collaboration
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Monitor KPIs and adjust plans to meet performance targets
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization
• Ability to support travel or off-site work, as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related technical field) and 6 years of related experience, OR 4 years of related experience with a Master's degree
• Experience with PCB design, hardware bring-up, and electronics manufacturing processes
• Working knowledge of engineering principles and project lifecycle management
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD)
• 4+ years of experience in embedded systems development
• 2+ years of experience in project engineering or project management
